Mitchell Equine Massage

Since 1999 Tracey Mitchell has been an experienced, professional, and committed Registered Equine Massage Therapist with a strong interest in creating pathways for improved performance, injury rehabilitation, and preventative health for horses. Tracey is a consummate professional whose primary concern is always based around what is in the best interest for the horse.

Tracey has assisted horses who have competed in Pan American Games, World Equestrian Games and the Olympics. Equine athletes that have been winners at Spruce Meadows, the Ontario Sire Stakes, Nations Cups and the International Finals Rodeo have all benefited from the results of Tracey’s massage treatments.

Equine Massage Therapy is a wonderful additive to any horse’s training that can be used to increase a horse’s performance. Equine massage can also help prevent injury and decrease a horse’s healing time from an already existing condition.

An active member of the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists, Tracey maintains the highest standard of practice in complementary equine health care. With this standard in mind, she requires veterinary consent before treatment to ensure that there are no contraindications related to massage, including musculo-skeletal conditions, drug therapies, and past health history. Her passion for the horse and the profession of equine massage therapy is what drives Tracey to inform her clients and the general public of the in-depth workings of massage therapy.

Tracey not only spends her time in the barns, but a large majority of what she does includes speaking to the public in such forums as seminars, lectures and conferences.
